Full details are spotty still, but this we do know...
The "Marketing Webmaster", Phil Huff, along with his father-in-law, died in a dune buggy accident last Saturday, 28 October 2006, in Arizona USA.
May he - may both men - rest in peace.
And if I ever met anyone who I felt certain*would* rest in peace - it's Phil Huff.
He wasn't goody-two-shoes, by any stretch of the imagination, but he was at peacewith himself, and worked tirelessly withothers, thereby maintaining his own sobriety.
Many a time we cut a conversation short because he was out to the prisons, tohelp the inmates.
And, surely, his latest days were someof his happiest. He is survived by his son, Phil Jr, and his wife of less than 7 months, Jody Huff.
We met in 1996, when he purchased a product I offered, Paper Profit$, http://www.realprofit.com/paper
He was transitioning out of the counseling field, into entrepreneurialism...
I was one of his first webmaster and web hosting clients.
As original founder of World Internet Summit, back in those early days, it was only him and me doing the famous "Internet Challenge".
Phil Huff drove the keyboard on the first two World Internet Summit events the world knew. The photo shows Phil at the keyboard, DaisyCabig, World Internet Challenge winner, and myself -World Internet Summit USA '04.

I'm the one who gave him the moniker, "The Marketing Webmaster". And I worked with himprecisely because he was this person.
God is good. The Universe works perfectly.
After the shock and weakness I felt upon hearing the news, on a personal level I felt a great relief. Because I had a chance recently to share quality time with Phil.
Some would call it ironic. And it's open to be downplayed as coincidence. I call it the HoloCosm in motion - HoloMagic. (More about that in The NEW Think and Grow Rich.) We shared our final good times together at the recent World Internet Summit in Las Vegas.
You know quality time doesn't come easily during the fast pace of a world class event like that. Yet we had a numberof deep conversations, including an evening out with dinner. Like old times. He and I across the table in an outdoor barbecue restaurant in a very small party.
He took me to McCarran Airport when I was leaving, and, in his characteristic style, demonstrated his 4-wheeling skills by jumping a couple curbs there, blazing his own shortcut.
We embraced, said our goodbyes, and went our separate ways.
Little dreaming what Fate lay in store...But fulfilled in the moment.
That's how Phil Huff lived, and that's howI'll always celebrate his memory. A man of fulfillment.
May he rest in peace.
I invite you to send your own brand of prayerful intention, support, assistance, and love to him, his son, his wife, his father-in-law, and all affected parties.
And I invite you to live in such a manner as Phil Huff, my hero, lived.
Respectfully,
Ted Ciuba
